THE STORY

These unique ceramic guinea fowls have been created by Heidi Caillard in 1974. I met Theo, the grandson of Heidi who shared with me the essence of their story. Heidi, his grandmother had a tiny house with a garden in the south of France. She simply liked those animals and started making and selling them in the local market, then exhibitions, then retailers…and so on. The success came naturally.

PERFECTION

Driven by perfection of the form, Heidi has taken a long time for the development of the shape of these birds.
