Kazuma Iwata — Create precious out of ordinary
Different prospective
Kazuma Iwata was intrigued by the fact that usually people put value on diamonds or metals and not on wood. This is how this project was born — to show the value of wood itself. Kazuma is into woods since 10 years old, when he helped his father, and already 28 years.
UNIQUE
Each piece is unique. This kind of quality could be done only by hand, because it demands the sense of touch for the wood so only human can do it. Kazuma sculps the beauty of the wood, to show how the wood lived and how it aged.
Kazuma says that everyone is so different and so he is seeking for the universal beauty. He designed these forms that bring peace and warmth that can speak to anyone.
CREATION PROCESS
Working with a designer, he chooses to work only with someone with who he can talk a lot.
Kazuma’s philosophy is my favorite — developing the product to its highest point.
