Francesca Cazzaniga — Being a small part of something big is good

FAIRY LADY

Francesca works at my favorite atelier in Milan, the place where all Buwood bags are born. Her mastery is preparing a product for production so that it meets the highest level of quality. Seeing her at work, I began to call her fairy, because she is able to do incredible things, especially at the last minute, when it seems like there is no chance.

Working in a company with a long history, with all Milanese pattern-makers, meant for Francesca to fall into her element.

ATTITUDE

“The great importance is to feel the other person, to be on the same wavelength with him, to have the similar approach on creativity, because this is what ultimately brings success for all parties. In relations with clients, the focus is primarily on caring for the project and helping the project so that it grows year after year.”

BEAUTY 

—Where did your understanding of quality come from?

— It is a relationship with beauty. It is a habit of seeing beautiful products. In everything I look for a good balance between content and form.

FREEDOM

—What is freedom of expression?

—It is when the real essence of a person is displayed on a canvas.

The concept of freedom is deeply rooted within Francesca. She learned it when she was a child —  she ran for hours in the forest, and only her father’s bell returned her to reality, calling her for lunch.
