SINCE 3 Y.O.

At the age of three, Mindert broke through a window into a dad’s laboratory that was closed just to make something there. Even then, he knew he was happy with tools.

ESSENCE

My mastery has not changed since I was three years old. Yes, of course you are studying, you have more information, but in your heart, in your essence, the relationship with your subject is the same.

PURPOSE

Your purpose may feel as if you are responsible in the world for certain things.

TRUST

Life guides you.

INTUITION

At that time modeling was not taught anywhere, Mindert didn’t even know what design was. He intuitively got to know his craft.

INVENTING

The experience is not always good. In my case, it’s better to specialize in a lack of experience, so you have more focus on inventing something new. Without experience and information, just trusting yourself and your heart is enough to do a good job.

TRUE BEAUTY

Creating models is one of the stages of creating a product, but they are not a visible part of the final result. Mindert's approach is to make these models very beautiful, despite the fact that no one will see them.
